Race Recap: Spartan Race Beast Killington 2017 | Mud Run ... from cdn1.mudrunguide.com

Spartan race is innovating obstacle course races on a global scale. This is our longest and most difficult race out of our three main race types and is aptly named for its brutal half. Based on the distance of your spartan race, use free online running schedules such as hal higdon's half marathon program.

Spartan is more than a race;

This is our most difficult of the three. The beast distance was first introduced to the spartan race series in 2011 at killington, vermont just down the road from the companies original headquarters in pittsfield, vermont. Achieve more than you thought possible! Where super is meant to push your limits, beast takes you completely out of your comfort zone.
